Raising up leaders who transform culture

We offer classes for children ages 0-5th grade at our Sunday 10am service.

Check-in is in the lobby next to the registration table. Just look for the jungle! All of our staff wear badges; feel
free to ask us questions! If it is your first time, please see a staff member and we will help you!

“Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me.” (Luke 9:48)

When you spend time with children, you are investing in the most precious treasures on earth. Our prayer at The Rock of Roseville is that as God’s character is revealed, His Spirit will be at work, drawing the hearts of children (and their families) to Him. Children’s Ministry at The Rock of Roseville presents the biblical truths of God’s Word in fun and creative ways on a weekly basis, all while understanding that the true daily discipleship of your child falls under your watch and guidance. With that in mind, we’re blessed to create opportunities to come alongside you to support and encourage you as faithful and godly parents.

Discoverers in our Beach Babies room (ages 0-2) will hear God’s heart for them through prayer, songs, and brief, interactive bible stories. Toddlers will participate in hands-on activities that reinforce the monthly Biblical theme.

Explorers in our Jungle Jam room (ages 3-5) will journey through the Bible, exploring God’s word.  Following worship and an engaging teaching, classes will break into small groups and travel to various learning stations including craft, games, table activities and snack.  A weekly Bible verse reinforces the lesson. Weekly updates and activity suggestions are sent home so that parents may reinforce what the child is learning in class at home.

Miners in our Rock Mining Company (ages 6-8) learn to use the tools God has given us to mine the gems of the Kingdom.  At this age being able to go deeper into the bible lessons is critical.  Children will participate in intergenerational worship in the main sanctuary, followed by a teaching and snack before breaking into small groups for crafts, activities, games and further discussion of the lesson.  Weekly updates and activity suggestions are sent home so that parents may reinforce what the child is learning in class at home.

In Warriors, our 9 to 11 year olds are at a crucial age.  They are able to grasp the biblical knowledge they have learned and apply it to their daily life as they begin to join the fight of living a Christian life. Warriors are taught on their level while being prepared to easily transition into the adult service and our Friday night youth program. Following the music portion of the worship service in the main sanctuary, Warriors will meet their teachers at the front of the main sanctuary and then proceed upstairs for their class meeting. Small group discussions will promote trust, fellowship, and accountability as Warriors pray for each other and discuss how to apply the week’s teaching to their own lives.
